![]() I have some major health issues that just did not allow me to rest well. ![]() I purchased my sleep number bed a little over a month ago and it was the best thing that my daughter could have talked me into. I wake up rested and ready to start the day. When my alarm goes off in the morning I am ready to get up, instead of pressing snooze over and over again like I used to. I've had this bed for about a month and it has made such a significant difference in my quality of sleep. ![]() I adjusted the sleep number bed till both beds felt about the same to see what the "sleep number" of the old bed was. When I set up my new sleep number bed I still had my old bed next to it. Not only is this a great bed, but a great investment as well. My wife and I purchased the p5 about a month ago and have been sleeping comfortably every night since. This is my 3rd sleep # bed, and I would not have any other bed ! It is the most comfortable sleep you can have! The new features are great as well, and give us all kinds of info on how we are sleeping! I would recommend this bed to everyone ! Love our bed!īought our bed in the summer. We have had the mattress 2 months now sleep much better love the sleep IQ feature well worth the money Best choice for bed! This is the best bed that we’ve ever owned. The P5 allows My wife and I to adjust our sides to our perfect firmness. Wonderful bed!īefore we got this bed we slept horribly. It would be more than a week in the hospital before getting to sleep in my new bed but it was worth the wait and I'm indeed sleeping finally after years of being disappointed in my mattress. It was delivered while I was having emergency surgery and the deliver men were amazingly patient while my friends found a key to let them in. I bought this bed thinking it would finally give me a great night sleep. Such a waste of money and we slept better on our former sealy plush innerspring. It’s a shame we spent nearly $3k with everything and cannot exchange or return. We bought the bed on a “friends and family” discount from a friend of ours and were told the sale was nonrefundable and non transferable. It has really affected our lifestyle and health. My husband tosses and turns all night and now has developed insomnia due to discomfort. I like a softer side and my husband side is firm. We bought our P5 about 3 years ago and were completely excited to finally get good nights rest and we still to this day cannot find our “sleep number” constantly adjusting each month. ![]() Raised head & foot features are the best! Not for everyone. The adjustable base is also a PLUS!!!!! THE ULTIMATE BEDĮvery night a sleep night. I am so happy with my new Sleep Number and the fact that I can adjust the firmness. It was no longer providing much support, and had become down right uncomfortable. Purchased because my old bed was on it's last leg. The adjustable base is our favorite part of the whole set up, as it's so much more comfortable for reading or watching TV in bed. We're still playing around with the settings but so far, we like how comfortable it is, and that we can each set our side for our preferences. We've had our Sleep Number p5 for about a month. By shining a critical light on the fascinating but fleeting (and often overlooked) ephemeral architecture, in particular, thatch roofs, we will begin to see how ecologies and architectures became deeply entangled, such as in the form of technological, cultural, and environmental knowledge as well as artistic innovation. ![]() Having explored the dynamic conditions, complexities, and perspectives of ecology in the first gathering, this second conference will bring into focus the ways in which distinct peoples, regions, and states used their local ecology to design, shape, and transform their built environments – often in the face of threats from imperial states. This conference series brings an unusually diverse number of disciplines together in order to unpack these complex dynamics, which challenge how we understand the built environment, the early modern Atlantic World, and the intersections between the local and the global. Using ephemeral architecture, in particular the complex and exquisite creation of thatch roofs as the leading thread in these tapestries of exchange, this series of conferences highlight the profound ways in which environmental practices, botanical knowledge, technological development, architectural innovation, and creative expression were deeply tied across these distinct regions and peoples, and shaped by imperial actions. This dynamic did not end with the invasion of 1492, but rather continued to expand and accelerate when people, plants, and empires came from across the Atlantic. In truth, this history of entanglement across water and land stretches back millennia, resulting in a rich and diverse built environment that is deeply tied to ecological change. Due to national politics, language barriers, and scholarly divisions that have their roots in the European colonization of the Americas, the long and complex history of exchange among these regions and peoples have been greatly understudied.
